This glazing seal must be used with Hehr Series 3500 (3501,3502), 3600 (3601,3602), 4200 (4201,4202), and 4900 (4901,4902) vintage windows to install 1/8" glass. The glazing channel will not work with 3/32" glass.

1. The Hehr Series 3500, 3600, 4200, and 4900 windows require 1/8" thick glass to work with this glazing channel. 3/32" glass will not work with this glazing channel. The thickness of this rubber glazing channel has been designed to fit snugly between the 1/8" glass pane and the aluminum channel. When cutting glass for installation, the glass pane should not overlay the aluminum channel edge by more than 1/8'.
2. All glass shops stock 1/8" glass.
3. Off-the-shelf glazing rubber from a hardware store or glass shop will be too thick to fit between the glass pane and the aluminum channel.
4. When installing glass and glazing channel into the aluminum channel, make sure the aluminum channel is clean and smooth. If there is corrosion inside the channel, use a small wire brush to smoothen.
5. Use liberal amounts of lubricant such as glass lubricant or dawn liquid dish soap.
6. Model numbers in clude 3501, 3502, 3510, 3511, 3512, 3601, 3602, 3610, 3611, 3612, 4901, 4902, 4910, 4911, 4912, 4201, 4202
7. This glazing seal is also compatible with some vintage Phillips windows using 3/32" glass.
