Hehr 3500 3501 3600 3601 Glazing Channel for 3/32 Inch Glass

1. The Hehr Series 3500, 3600 and 4900 windows require 3/32" thick glass when using this glazing product. 1/8" glass will not work with this glazing channel. If your glass shop does not have 3/32" glass, you can purchase 36" x 24" glass sheets at Home Depot or Lowes and deliver to your glass shop for cutting.

2. When cutting glass for use with this glazing product, the glass pane should overlay the aluminum glazing channel by 1/4".

3. The thickness of the rubber glazing channel has been designed to fit snugly between the 3/32" glass pane and the aluminum channel. Off-the-shelf glazing channel from a hardware store or glass shop will be too thick to fit between the glass pane and the aluminum channel.

4. When installing glass and glazing into the aluminum window channel, make sure the aluminum channel is clean and smooth. If there is corrosion inside the channel, use a small wire brush to smoothen.

5. Use liberal amounts of lubricant such as Dawn liquid dish soap.
