1972 to 1986 Airstream Dual Pane Glass Spacer

The spacer is available in 3 different lengths and 4 different widths to meet the various width requirements of Airstream dual pane windows from 1972 to 1986. Windows include side awning, side fixed, stack, Vista, wing, front awning, and rear awning.

The spacer has a silicone core and contains moisture absorbing desiccant 40% by weight. The desiccant will absorb any moisture left over from the restoration process. The outside surface is covered by a foil vapor barrier and uses a peel-off, pressure activated acrylic adhesive to structurally bind the two window glass panes. 

The spacer is stored and shipped in vacuum packed bags to prevent the desiccant from becoming saturated with outside air moisture. The spacer should be installed in a window within 1 hour of opening the vacuum bag.
