This seal slides in an aluminum channel along the bottom of the aluminum window frame. As the glass pane closes, the "hourglass" shaped seal is compressed to form a tight seal. Our engineering team has reproduced this seal to exacting specifications by taking measurements from actual windows and finally fit checking to ensure an exact fit. The original Hehr part number was 009-202.
